You may contribute your expertise by… Reading German text in order to rank a series of responses that were produced by an AI model Writing a short story in German about a given topic Assessing whether a piece of German text produced by an AI model is factually accurate Examples of desirable expertise: Experience as a professional translator Professional writing experience (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.) Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities field or field related to writing Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing Payment: Currently, pay rates for core project work by German writing experts average USD $29 per hour Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors. For example, higher rates may be offered to PhDs. For non-core work, such as during initial project onboarding or project overtime phases, lower rates may apply. Certain projects offer incentive payments. Immediate start available for the right candidate What You'll Do: Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty equipment, including trucks, trailers, and specialized machinery. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques. Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used in accordance with company standards. Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Provide guidance and training to apprentices and less experienced mechanics as needed. Who We Are Looking For: Valid Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certificate or equivalent certification. Proven experience as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic, with a strong understanding of hydraulic systems, engines, and electrical components. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid class 5 driver’s license and willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when required.
