You may contribute your expertise by… Reading German text in order to rank a series of responses that were produced by an AI model Writing a short story in German about a given topic Assessing whether a piece of German text produced by an AI model is factually accurate Examples of desirable expertise: Experience as a professional translator Professional writing experience (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, etc.) Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities field or field related to writing Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing Payment: Currently, pay rates for core project work by German writing experts average USD $29 per hour Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors. For example, higher rates may be offered to PhDs. For non-core work, such as during initial project onboarding or project overtime phases, lower rates may apply. Currently operating with three (3) main manufacturing locations within the GTA, one (1) manufacturing site in Ohio, US and satellite locations in London, Ottawa and Vancouver, BC. Position Overview: The Vice President of Operations is a key senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing and satellite facilities. Reporting directly to the President, the VP of Operations will collaborate with the leadership team to ensure alignment with the organization's culture and strategic goals. This role requires a dynamic individual who is a team player with exceptional leadership skills, strategic vision, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the leadership team to set strategic goals and objectives that promote the growth and success of the business. Prepare and manage budgets, schedules, and other necessary documents to support operational planning and execution. Develop and implement plans and strategies to enhance productivity, optimize processes, and reduce costs across all manufacturing and satellite facilities. Lead the development and execution of corporate strategies in production, purchasing, and distribution to achieve short and long-term business objectives. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
