Follow up on repairs being made, perform repairs as needed and appraise performance of shop personnel. Supervise, coach, train, evaluate employee performance or behavior; provide input into hiring, disciplinary action, terminations, compensation, and promotion decisions Conduct daily shop huddles and fleet walks Perform inspections of outside repairs to ensure all work was properly completed in accordance with Company’s safety and compliance procedures and federal/state regulations. Plan and schedule repairs in MIR planning and procure all parts for successful plan. Analyze the quality and effectiveness of the work performed Oversee repair diagnostics on more complex matters Conduct road test on equipment as necessary Assist with inventory control system to ensure necessary equipment and part levels are maintained.
